| Biography: |
| Picked up after being released, Bourassa hit .356 with 11 doubles, two triples, two homers and 36 runs scored in 48 games for the Lake Elsinore Storm. He drew 25 walks while whiffing just 13 times to post a .428 OBP.
Bourassa played collegiately at Wake Forest, where he was named the 2003 Easton Defensive Player of the Year by Collegiate Baseball magazine, drafted in the sixth round by the Texas Rangers.
In his first professional season, Bourassa hit .220 with six doubles in 59 games for short-season Class A Spokane (Wash.). Last year, the left-handed hitter batted .290 with six doubles in 57 games with Clinton (Iowa) of the Low Class A Midwest League before a broken hand ended his season.
Bourassa hit .204 with Bakersfield of the California League in 31 games this year before his release.
