| Biography: |
After starting the 2005 season at Triple-A Portland Stauffer's contract was purchased by the Padres on May 9th. In his debut, Stauffer went six innings and allowed two runs to get his first Major League win.
2004
He had six outings in Lake Elsinore. His ERA at the time of his promotion was 1.78. Stauffer was promoted to Mobile on May 12, 2004. He pitched in several games there and was quickly shipped to Portland where he made his home for the rest of the year.
