Sain belted 28 homers and knocked in 74 for Mobile in '04. He batted .235 with 66 walks and 140 strikeouts while also hitting 22 doubles and scoring 64 runs.

Padres 5th round draft pick in 2001 (University of San Diego)Â…Rated as #24 prospect in Padres organization by Baseball America prior to 2004 season. Spent entire 2003 season at Lake Elsinore and ranked third in Cal League in RBI, fifth in doubles, and fifth in home runs per at-bat (1/24.58)...hit .343 with runners in scoring position. Began '02 season on the disabled list recovering from off-season shoulder surgery...had a career-high five hits August 17, 2002. Named to the 2001 Northwest League All-Star team as designated hitter and led the circuit in home runs (16).

2002 - Began the season on the Disabled List recovering from off-season shoulder surgery...was activated May 4 and spent the entire campaign at Single-A Fort Wayne, batting .245 with 13 homers and 57 RBI in 105 games
