Clements hit .266 in 99 games with Mobile. He had seven doubles, one triple, a homer and 21 RBI's.
Signed as a minor league free agent by the Padres, February 26, 2003. Played college baseball at Oral Roberts
University. Originally selected by the Oakland A's in the 19th round of the 1999 draft and played two seasons in the
independent Western League. Enjoyed 16 game hitting streak July 6-31, 2003 at Lake Elsinore.
