Biography:
Peavy went 15-6 in 2004 and won the ERA Championship with the Padres. Jake Peavy won the National League ERA title with a 2.27 mark and posted a 15-6 record. He is the Padres' top starter although he won't be designated as such to protect the 23-year-old from too much pressure. Impressed everyone on postseason all-star tour to Japan.

Jake Peavy went 12-11 in 2003, the only Padres starter to have a winning record. His ERA was 4.11 and he had 156 K's and 85 BB's in 194.2 IP. His WHIP was 1.31.
