| Romero, who also plays third base, is quite the two-sport athlete in the San Diego area. A First-Team All League quarterback for Eastlake, Romero is a slick-fielding shorstop/third baseman that hit .395 with six homeruns as a junior last season and was named an AFLAC All-American as one of the country's top rising seniors. Despite committing to San Diego State University, Romero is projected to be drafted in one of the top three rounds in next June's MLB Draft. |
