Biography:
He began the year with Eugene and batted .284 in 46 games with three homers and 25 RBI's before being promoted to Fort Wayne. He only saw action in one game, going 2-for-3.

Notes:

The native of Woodland Hills, Calif. was picked in the 31st round after his junior season at UCLA. A three-year starter for the Bruins, he led the team with a .323 average, 49 runs scored and nine stolen bases this spring. As a sophomore, the center fielder hit .299 with 13 doubles and 37 RBIs.
