| Biography: |
Leo Rosales was selected in the 20th round of the 2003 draft by the Padres. The righthander was 5-7 with a 4.74 ERA for Cal-State Northridge. He went on to pitch for Eugene, going 3-1 with a 2.09 ERA in 43 innings.
2004
Rosales was dominant with Fort Wayne. He ended the year with 26 saves despite not getting his first until after June 1. He went 6-1 with a 1.40 ERA. He struck out 66 in 57.2 innings and held the opposition to a .183 batting average. They hit just .127 off him when runners were in scoring position. Amazingly, he did not begin the year with any team as he remained in extended spring training.
