Josh Geer had a marvelous outing to lead Portland into the victory column. Stephen Faris and Cedric Hunter led San Antonio to a convincing win. Lake Elsinore couldn’t overcome Max Scherzer, as they managed a single Brad Chalk hit off the major leaguer. Anthony Bass makes his Fort Wayne debut as a starter a tremendous success.
