Towers, Fuson, Gayton provide draft recap Premium Story

The San Diego Padres concluded day one of the draft with one pitcher drafted. It wasn't that they weren't looking for pitchers, Grady Fuson, the Padres vice president of scouting and player development, said. They just missed several pitchers they coveted but came away happy with an offensive draft. Fuson, scouting director Bill Gayton, and general manager Kevin Towers provide a day one recap.
