Drew Macias raked out four hits in a big win. Manny Ayala did something he hadn’t done all year. Richie Daigle’s slow delivery hasn’t been kind to his catchers. Nick Schmidt got his first professional start. Eugene got big outings from Chris Perez and Cory Luebke in a must-win. Geoff Vandel pitched to the minimum over six to pick up the win.
