Portland had to contend with Gil Meche at Tacoma as phenom Tim Stauffer opposed him. Chris Rojas was touched up for five runs in a tight game in Mobile. A costly error by Luis Cruz put the Storm in a hole they could recover from. Howie Pence maintains his streak. Colt Morton homered again in Eugene. Daryl Jones and William Killian supplied the lumber for Peoria.
