Every team within the San Diego Padres system won their game on Sunday, completing a Mother’s Day sweep of the opposition. From the pitching to the batting, each had contributions to the team. Jon Knott was the sole offense for Portland, and he was all they needed. Ronnie Merrill nearly pulled off the same in Elsinore. Mobile pitching shut down the opposition. The Wizards awoke from their slumber.
