Padres Prospect Report: August 11, 2009

Josh Banks doesn't earn a win despite allowing two runs over six. Cesar Ramos is solid in Lake Elsinore but Bryan Oland can't close shop. Adam Zornes clears the bags en route to a Fort Wayne win. Jason Hagerty has three hits, including a homer. Jhonaldo Pozo homers but sees seven steals against. The DSL Padres get a shutout, as Jean Corpas fans seven.

Portland (49-68) lost 2-1 to Round Rock (Astros) Josh Banks suffered the loss, despite allowing two runs on six hits across six innings. He did not walk a batter and struck out four. Four of the hits he allowed went for extra bases, including a solo homer. Banks also went 1-for-2 at the dish.
