Padres Minor League Spring Notebook I

PEORIA, AZ – Back to basics for the San Diego Padres minor leaguers. With games still a week distant, the prospects were working out the kinks from their armor.

Several fields were occupied but no intrasquad game was held on Friday. Instead, much of the time was devoted to fielding practice and bullpen sessions for the pitching staff and batting practice for the hitters.
