Portland lost 6-4 to Tucson (Diamondbacks) Mike Thompson (4-11) lasted 5.1 innings, giving up five runs on nine hits and two walks before being pulled after 76 pitches. He became the third Portland pitcher to lose 11 games this year. Thompson has given up nine hits or more in seven of his 22 starts, losing six of those contests.
