Stephen Faris will take over Miller’s spot in the rotation.

Jonathan Schemmel is a career .291 hitter that was in the New York Mets chain last year. He split the year between Brooklyn and Hagerstown and has collected 18 doubles, four triples and 56 runs scored in 121 minor league games. He is a patient hitter who has drawn more walks, 60, than he has struck out, 55.
Wilton Lopez has a career 1-1 mark with a 3.65 ERA in nine games over four leagues in the Yankees farm system. He has not pitched professionally since 2004.
