A Breit future for Padres' prospect

Our story begins on a bright sunny day many summers ago in the small but quaint town of Hays, Kansas. Janice Breit is doing the same thing she has every summer for nearly two decades, playing softball. Her husband Leon is in the stands cheering for his wife, as always. But this year is different. Janice has a second, much younger, fan in the stands. His name is Aaron and he is her infant son.
