The 22-year-old from Fountain, Colorado is currently leading the Storm with 121 hits and is tied for the team lead (Sean Kazmar) with 11 home runs. Headley also ranks among the Storm leaders with a .283 batting average, 58 RBI’s, 69 runs scored, and 30 doubles.
Headley was also named to the mid-season All-Star team in June after an impressive first-half that included eight home runs and 32 RBI’s. Two other Storm players, Neil Jamison and Cesar Ramos, joined Headley in Salem, Virginia to represent the Cal League. Ramos replaced Mike Ekstrom on the Cal League roster after Ekstrom was promoted to the Double-A Mobile BayBears.
