The moves continue in the San Diego Padres' system as Colt Morton and Jeremy Cleveland are moving up from High-A Lake Elsinore to Double-A Mobile. They both are in uniform with Lake Elsinore on Tuesday and will move up after the game.

The promotion of catcher George Kottaras to Portland continues to send shockwaves throughout the system.

With his spot vacated in Double-A Mobile, catcher Colt Morton will move up the chain. The 6-foot-6 right-handed hitter batted .224 over 52 games with the Lake Elsinore Storm. He added 15 doubles, five homers and 22 RBI's while walking 34 times and striking out 43.

Jeremy Cleveland takes over the spot vacated by Joey Gomes who was released. Over 79 games, the outfielder has hit .278 with 17 doubles, a homer and 37 RBI's. He has drawn 25 walks while striking out 62 times. He is hitting .337 with runners in scoring position.
