Cla Meredith wants that feeling again

Portland reliever Cla Meredith has seen Fenway Park, has touched the ivy in Chicago, and came away knowing that he wants to get back. He admits that his nerves were shot in his major league debut but knows how that has helped him grow as he looks forward to the next change - one he hopes will keep him there for good.

Cla Meredith was acquired by the Padres from the Boston Red Sox along with Josh Bard for Doug Mirabelli. Two weeks later he was in San Diego.

He has since returned to Portland.where he has posted a 1.76 ERA over 11 appearances but it is about "the show" for the reliever.
