Sansoe, Guerrero reassigned

Fort Wayne, IN – Outfielders Mike Sansoe and Santiago Guerrero have been reassigned in the San Diego Padres system again, with Sansoe returning to Fort Wayne and Guerrero returning to Peoria, Arizona for extended spring training.

One week ago the two outfielders swapped locations with Mike Sansoe being promoted to Lake Elsinore from Fort Wayne and Santiago Guerrero coming up from extended spring training.

Guerrero was signed by the San Diego Padres organization in 2001 and spent four seasons with the Padres' Dominican Summer League team. Guerrero was with the Eugene Emeralds of the Northwest League for the 2005 season.

In two games with the Wizards, Guerrero hit .222 with nine at-bats, scored one run and drove in one run.

Sansoe was San Diego's 18th round selection in the 2005 June Amateur Draft. In 10 games with the Wizards this year he hit .268 with five doubles, four runs batted in and six steals.
