Prospect Interview:  Leo Rosales

Leo Rosales will be entering year number three of his minor league career in 2005. His first two produced spectacular results. Rosales has appeared in 89 games during his first two years as a pro in the Padres organization, all but one out of the bullpen. And after an injury to Low-A Fort Wayne closer Ryan Klatt in '04 Rosales was put in the most important bullpen spot, closer, for the second half of the season, collecting 26 saves and posting a 1.40 ERA.

"There's a little more pressure in the closer's role." Rosales said, "But the bottom line is you've just got to focus when you go in the game.  That doesn't really change from the first inning to the last inning."
