One Hit, Two Hit, Padres Minors Sweep

The San Diego Padres minor league affiliates completed a clean sweep on Tuesday. Some of the brightest arms in the system turned in solid performances, including a one hitter and two hitter, and two underrated prospects continue to excel in their respective leagues.

Portland won 8-0 Chris Oxspring was simply dominant for Portland. Ox went six innings and gave up just one hit while whiffing eight. His performance put him at 2-0 on the season and dropped his ERA to 1.56. Oxspring also walked twice at the plate and scored twice on the day.
