Prospect Watch: Oramas pitched better than his line indicated as he was done in by a few errors and some balls that should have been fielded that led to longer innings...Other than Galvez' home run nothing really stood out for El Paso tonight as the team was 0-8 with runners in scoring position.

So far this month he is hitting .338/.397/.692 and is leading the organization in home runs with 10...Hahn had his longest outing of the year so far. Overall Hahn has struck out 23 batters in 23.2 innings pitched against only 10 walks with a 3.04 ERA...Portillo is still a little wild with 14 base-on-balls in 20 innings but he also has 24 strikeouts to go along with a 1.35 ERA.
Storm 2 - Modesto Nuts 1
Key StatisticsLF Jeremy Baltz 2-4; 2B Benji Gonzalez 2-3; 3B Gabriel Quintana 1-3, 2b, 2 RBI; RHP Joe Ross (W, 4-2) 5.1 IP 5 H R BB 8 K; RHP Adam Cimber 0.2 IP H K; LHP Brandon Alger 1.0 IP 3 Ks; RHP Ben Paulius 1.0 IP 2 H K; RHP Trevor Gott (S, 11) 1.0 IP 2 Ks.
Prospect Watch:Quintana's two-run double was all the Storm needed as Joe Ross and the bullpen shut down the Nuts at the Diamond...Ross truck out a season high eight batters and with the exception of two hiccups in his nine starts has allowed less than two runs in his seven other outings. Many picked that this would be the season that his performances start to equal his talent, and for the first few months of the season it's been true.

Prospect Watch:The TinCaps lost their third as they failed to put any crooked numbers on the board as South Bend plated runs in four of the first five innings...Perez fell a triple short of the cycle. No, he didn't walk today either; he just had three hits and hit his team leading fifth home run...Closer Nick Mutz didn't get a save today but he is having a nice season with 17 strikeouts in 18 innings against only five walks.
