Pazos Picking It Up

TAMPA, FL - Reliever James Pazos got off to a surprisingly rough start this season considering the great finish to his season last year and the rather solid performance he had in the Arizona Fall League this past offseason. He's been picking his game up lately, however, and is beginning to make the necessary adjustments.

He began his 2014 campaign allowing eight earned runs in his first 9.1 innings pitched for the Tampa Yankees and he admits his rather slow start actually began back in Spring Training. "It was alright," Pazos said of camp. "It was a little bit of a struggle, just changing a bunch of things…trying to make my arm quicker, trying to my legs quicker.
