Oklahoma City Redhawks 6 – Tucson Padres 8
Key Statistics RHP Burch Smith 4 IP, 10 H, 6 R, 2 ER, 0 BB, 2 K; CF Reymond Fuentes 2-4, 2B, RS, 3 RBI, SB; 2B Jonathan Galvez 1-2, 3 RS, 2 BB, SB (19)
Prospect Watch: So much for my belief that Galvez would be in the AZL for a week. After one game, Galvez was back with the T-Pads, and immediately made a big impact. He scored three runs including the game-tying run in the ninth inning on Cody Decker’s walk off home run. … Make it 9-for-20 for Fuentes in Tucson, with nine runs scored, two doubles, five RBIs and three stolen bases. Between Double-A and Triple-A, Fuentes is hitting .323/.403/.447 with 32 SB.

Bowling Green Hot Rods 8 – Fort Wayne TinCaps 7 (10 innings)
Key Statistics 1B Luis Tejada 4-5, 2B, 2 RS; RF Hunter Renfroe 1-5, 2B, RBI; CF Alberth Martinez 1-4, 2B, RS, 2 RBI, BB
Prospect Watch: After posting a 1.11 ERA before the All Star Break, Roman Madrid has struggled with a 5.50 ERA, three losses, and two blown saves. The biggest difference has been the walks. Madrid has walked 12 batters in just 18 innings over his last 16 games, while his BAA has also risen nearly 100 points (.181 to .280)

Eugene Emeralds 2 –Boise Hawks 13
Key Stats: RF Donavan Tate 1-4, 3B, RS; RHP Coby Cowgill 5.1 IP, 8 H, 6 R, 4 ER, 2 BB, 5 K;
Prospect Watch: After throwing two straight shutouts while striking out 14, Cowgill was hit hard allowing as many hits as he did in his last three starts. Even with his rough outing, he still remains the Ems most consistent starter. But when it rains it pours for the Ems.
