Prospect Watch: The Missions won their third straight as Johan Limotas’ double in the bottom of the tenth gave San Antonio their third straight win. The Missions are now 22-14 and in first in the Texas League South for the second half...With the exception of a bad start in Corpus Christi on July 22 where he gave up five earned runs, Roach has only allowed a single earned run in four of his five starts this month...Rico Noel is second in the organization with 43 steals...Big Jeremy McBryde now has 60 strikeouts in 47.2 innings with a 2.08 ERA. McBryde is one of the reasons the organization believes it can make a bullpen trade from the big league squad.

Prospect Watch: A tough night for the Storm as the playoff hopes for one of the more talented teams in the Padres’ organization are fading...Austin Hedges is one of the top prospects in San Diego’s organization, but there are some questions on his bat. A .337 OBP in the hitter friendly Cal League makes you wonder about how well he will do against more advanced pitching in AA...3B Duanel Jones has a lot of potential and is still only twenty years old but after over 350 plate appearances a .222/.279/.302 line is not good..Needy’s outing was his second worst of the year. The Santee High grad has only given up four of more earned runs three times in his 21 starts this season.

Prospect Watch In Dayton the Dragons beat the TinCaps for the first time in seven tries as Fort Wayne fell too 12 and 21 in the second half...Tissenbaum doesn’t have much power but does posses excellent on-base skills as he has walked more than he has struck out this year at 39/31...after a tough first half in Lake Elsinore Luis Domoromo is rebounding with the TinCaps hitting .283/.307/.415.

Prospect Watch Since all of the stories on Eugene have turned into the Hunter Renfroe watch here is everyone’s fix: Renfroe hit a two-run double in the bottom of the eighth to help put Eugene on top for their third win in four games. Renfroe now has nine extra-base hits in his first 16 games as a professional and is hitting .333/.371/.561...Going somewhat unnoticed Richardson is also having a fine season is second in the league in doubles with 11, fourth in slugging percentage at .491 and leading the league in on-base percentage at .464.
