The Missions and Frisco were supposed to play a double-header to make up for Monday’s rainout, but the weather continued to be uncooperative and they only got in one seven-inning contest. The offense didn’t get the memo that they were playing even one game as the Missions managed only three singles all evening. ... Yeison Asencio, who rejoined the club after the Futures Game along with Reymond Fuentes, had a single in three trips and now has a 10 game hitting streak. He has struck out 13 times in 137 trips to the plate. …Starter Matt Wisler had his roughest outing in a month, giving up four runs over five innings of work. The 20-year-old righty tied a season low with a pair of strikeouts. Since the start of June, he has a 2.66 ERA and 40 strikeouts in 44 innings.

Prospect Watch: Yimmi Brasoban was hit hard for the first time in his stateside career, giving up four homers over five innings of work. The 19-year-old, who had surrendered only one round-tripper coming in 27 innings coming into the night, gave up a career high seven hits in the loss. … Hunter Renfroe continues to mash as a pro, adding two more hits to his tally. The first-round pick has four multi-hit games in his first six professional contests and has a .417/.462/.750 line in very early returns.
