Quack earned his first big league save

After struggling in his first few appearances in Tucson, Kevin Quackenbush slammed the door shut to earn his first AAA save.

Prospect Watch: With one swing of the bat the game changed. With two on in the sixth, Cody Decker belted a three run home run, his tenth of the year, to give the T-Pads their first lead of the game. It was Decker's seventh homerun in June and over the last two months Decker has a tremendous line of .313/.375/.641… Kevin Quackenbush collected his first AAA save of the year.

Prospect Watch: In 12 previous starts this year TinCaps' ace Joe Ross had allowed one home-run this year. In his first start of the second half Joe Ross allowed three home-runs. The twenty-year old allowed more hits and more runs than in any previous start this year. Quite a bit of it might be leftover from being hit hard during the Midwest League all-star game.

CF Ronnie Richardson, a speedy left-handed hitter out of the University of Central Florida on his second tour of the Northwest League is of to a fast start hitting .438/.591/.813 in his first five games.
