San Antonio – The Missions surrendered a six-run lead in their 9-7 loss to the Frisco RoughRiders Wednesday night at Wolff Stadium. The loss extends San Antonio's season-long losing streak to eight games. Frisco scored eight runs over the final four innings and pounded out 20 hits in the game.

Frisco had their chances to score early. They loaded the bases in the first and again in the third but Geer struck out Tommy Mendonca and Ryan Strausborger respectively to end the threats.

San Antonio loaded the bases in the fifth and scored their first two runs when Mendonca was unable to come up with a grounder off the bat of Nate Freiman. Decker was up next and blasted his 23rd home run of the season deep over the wall in left.

After the RoughRiders scored their run in the top of the fifth, the Missions responded with two more in their half of the frame on RBI's from Dean Anna and Freiman. Frisco began their comeback in the sixth with a pair of runs that made the score 7-3. An inning later they hung a three-spot to draw within a run at 7-6.

The RoughRiders completed their comeback with a three-run ninth inning off San Antonio closer Daniel Stange. Wilmer Font retired the Missions in the bottom of the inning to seal the victory. Freiman had two RBI tonight, giving him 101 on the season and becoming just the fourth Mission to record 100 RBI's in a season in the Wolff Stadium era (1994-present).

COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. – A three-run home run by West Michigan's Jeff Maggard proved to be the difference Wednesday night, as his one swing of the bat delivered the Whitecaps to a 3-2 win over the Fort Wayne TinCaps. Fort Wayne has now lost four consecutive games.

The TinCaps scored first, getting on the board before the opposition for the first time since Saturday night. Travis Jankowski reached on a one-out double in the first inning, and came across to score on a groundout by Mike Gallic, which gave Fort Wayne (32-26, 63-65) a 1-0 lead. That advantage stretched to 2-0 in the fourth inning when Matt Colantonio drew a bases-loaded walk against West Michigan (29-29, 66-63) starter Marcelo Carreno.

Fort Wayne's Ruben Mejia, who was seeking back-to-back wins, left in line for a victory having tossed five scoreless innings. He allowed at least one base runner in every inning he worked, but struck out four of the last six batters he faced.

James Jones (2-4) entered in the sixth, retiring Jason King on strikes. Jones then walked Jason Krizan, surrendered a single to Pat Leyland. With two outs, he then surrendered a three-run home run to Maggard. Maggard's fourth home run of the year bounced off of the manual scoreboard in left field, putting the Whitecaps in front for good.

Travis Jankowski singled in the fifth, and Matt Colantonio provided singles in both the seventh and ninth innings. Fort Wayne finished the night 1-6 with runners in scoring position and stranded seven men on base.
