FORT WAYNE -- After a ten year major league career former San Diego High Cavers star Jacques Jones decided to hang them up. After a few years away from baseball he still wanted to be involved in the game and decided to take a position with the Padres as their hitting coach in Low-A with Fort Wayne.

We caught up with Jacques at the end of April to talk about some of his pupils and how he is adjusting to his new role. What has Donavan Tate done well this year and what does he need to work on?
