MadFriars' Interview: Andy Parrino

TUCSON: Andy Parrino, 25, was taken in the 26th round of the 2007 draft by the San Diego Padres out of Le Moyne College in upstate New York which at the time was a Division I school.

Players that aren't top draft picks have to work for every opportunity and make the most of them when they arrive. Last year after seeing limited time in Fort Wayne and Lake Elsinore in 2009, Parrino got one of those opportunites when injuries hit the AA San Antonio roster.
