Cameron Maybin, 23, appeared in a career-high 82 games for the Marlins in 2010, making 74 starts in centerfield. He hit .234 (68-for-291) with seven doubles, three triples, eight home runs, 28 RBI, 46 runs scored and nine stolen bases. The right-handed hitting outfielder posted the highest range factor per nine innings of any National League centerfielder with at least 70 games played in 2010 (3.11).
Originally signed by the Detroit Tigers as a first-round selection (10th overall) in the 2005 First-Year Player Draft, Maybin has hit .246 (135-for-548) with 24 doubles, five triples, 13 home runs, 45 RBI, 93 runs scored and 19 stolen bases in 168 games over parts of four Major League seasons with the Tigers (2007) and Marlins (2008-10).
Edward Mujica, 26, made 59 relief appearances in his second year with the Padres in 2010. He went 2-1 with a 3.62 ERA (28 ER/69.2 IP) while recording 72 strikeouts compared to just six walks. His 12.00 strikeout/walk ratio was the best of any Major League reliever. Since making his Major League debut for the Cleveland Indians in 2006, Mujica has gone 8-9 with a 4.47 ERA (116 ER/233.1 IP) in 179 games (four starts).
Ryan Webb, 24, made a career-high 54 relief appearances over three stints with the Padres last season. In his second Major League campaign, he went 3-1 with a 2.90 ERA (19 ER/59.0 IP), 44 strikeouts and 19 walks. Over parts of two Big League seasons with the Padres (2009-10), he has combined to go 5-2 with a 3.19 ERA (30 ER/84.2 IP) in 82 relief outings.
